Hello friends and family,
First, I want to declare to you all, that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. He saved me, apart from my works done in righteousness. But because of His mercy, He has clothed me in His righteousness. Nothing, will be ever good enough to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, apart from the saving and blessed work of Christ Jesus, Ruler of all!
I want to also thank each and everyone of you all who has prayed for myself and my wife, Carisa. We are so grateful. The Lord shows His kindness and works through the prayers and good works of His people. We love God’s people.
This blog was started to make sure people were informed about my disease and the progress of treatment. Now, it must come to an end.
Today my wife and I were given the news that there is no more treatment left. My doctor, does not want to continue with treatment. My body is not handling it well, and apart from delaying the inevitable, the treatment is just not working anymore. We ask for your prayers.
I have been given a week left to live. This seems pretty sudden and might come as a shock to many, but I can honestly say that I have tried my best to fight.
We don’t know God’s secret purposes. He is sovereign and above all a good and gracious God. We must now seek to trust Him, as we move towards the conclusion of my life.
Again, please be in prayer for my wife, and my family. We have family coming to visit and they plan on helping my wife with anything she needs.

I have just prayed this morning for you. As you wrote this is a shock to read. However, God is above everything and we trust in Him and His purposes. I do pray for healing. Lord, touch Jorge’s body and heal him. He is your child. You are God of victory.

Dear Jorge,
I am so saddened to hear this news. You have fought a valiant fight. The Lord has other plans for your next journey in life. He has prepared you and Carisa and given you the blessing of seeing each other through together. I will always be there for her and know the Lord will carry her for you. I feel blessed to have known you this short while of your life here on earth and it is an honor to be able to have communication with you as the Lord prepares to take you home. I did not have this opportunity when I lost my fiancé this past October. Also being in a new state, city, job but Carisa is strong and she will be fine in God’s hands. Jorge, we want to say so much! But, what you wrote at the top will be saved and remembered in our hearts, as an encouragement that God “Alone” is everything! We will not give up in our prayer effort, what ever the future brings! “The Lord is in control” and it is a testament to us, that you have not taken your eyes off of Him. “Praise God” We thank the Lord “Jesus” for bringing you into our lives! Jorge, my friend I am speechless. I cannot add to your or anyone else words. I will trust the Lord just wants his faithful servant with Him. Please know that I will continue the support as long as Carisa is in need and prayers for her will never cease. Humbly blessed to know you my friend!

Praying for you young man. It’s good to hear that you know the Lord Jesus as your Savior that is a definite plus.
Will keep your wife and family up in prayer also. Our God is a miracle worker . If he chooses he can extend your life another 15 years but if it’s your time to come home that’s a blessing also.
If you have any interest there is a guy Dr Joel Wallach talks a lot about cancer perhaps he can give you some encouragement.

Dear Jorge-
I was provided with Psalm 139:3-5 TPT just a week ago and it has given me such powerful encouragement and faith in how God thinks and cares for His children:
3–4 You are so intimately aware of me, Lord.
You read my heart like an open book
and you know all the words I’m about to speak
before I even start a sentence!
You know every step I will take before my journey even begins.
5 You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way,
and in kindness, you follow behind me
to spare me from the harm of my past.[a]
With your hand of love upon my life,
You impart a blessing to me.
God knows the beginning from the end and He is with you through it all.
Your letter to all to express your gratitude is absolutely priceless. How you speak about the Lord in the midst of your current state is so heart-warming and inspirational. Your witness is a gift to all of us that we will remember and be strengthened by. It’s like that beautiful Job-like expression when through all God allowed him to go through, he exclaimed to God, “Yet, I will worship you.” And with that faith, God imparted a blessing unto Job in unfathomable ways.
With that said, I ask God to impart a blessing upon your life in unfathomable ways. I ask that His Supernatural power reign over your body and by His power, allow your body to perform in the perfection that He designed our bodies to function. “For greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world.” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
He loves you, He is always by your side, and He will never leave you.

Jorge I have always been so encouraged and inspired of your strong faith in the Lord throughout this journey you and Carisa have been on. I have and will continue to pray that you will have time to be reunited with your family, you will be in His complete Peace as you are preparing to meet The glorious King of Kings and receive your crown at His throne. Our prayers will be with your precious Carisa that she will experience the support and love from family and friends. One week does seem short, and yet a part of me wants to shout with joy, that you are so very close to entering into eternal life with out Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Dear Brother, may the peace of God, rest, rule and abide in every fiber of your being. I pray His peace for you and your family and friends. His ways are always better, my Pastor would often remind us, even when we didn’t fully understand. Our confidence was in the living Word, the Truth, the way and the life, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. God remains in the healing business, and when man says no, God says yes!
You are healed, irrespective of what the circumstances look like. God works miracles every second of the day.
I am thanking God for healing your body from the top of your head to the soles of your feet…because Jesus bore our sicknesses and weaknesses on the cross, and by His stripes, we “were” healed.
I will continue to pray for you and your family, and continue to thank God for your healing miracle.

It was such a joy having you as a friend, and growing in the Lord together. I have wept for you and Carisa, but know they are tears of joy.

I have never met you.. but I got the wind of this news from Andrew Wong.
As a fellow brother in christ, I will pray for your last days to be the most fruitful as ever. I will also pray for your family and wife.
I wish I can say things to make things better… but I cannot nor do I have the power to make things better. All I know is… God, our loving loving father has a plan for you and your family. Only he knows the plan.
A lot of the times, we wish we can have it our way…and even though I never met you… in my wicked heart it screams for you to avoid this moment in your life… but as the bible says:
“A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.” – proverbs 16:9
As I said before, he knows what is best for us because he loves us more than anyone on this planet.
Jorge, I love you man. I don’t even know what you look like… but I love you because you are my brother!
May God hold your hand firm as you walk with him! I will pray for you tonight with my wife!
